Welland valley beer festival: 20th, 21st,22nd & of June 2008
This is the 6th Welland valley beer festival and we are proud to be taking part again.

Friday 20th June,
The opening of the festival at 6.00pm.
7pm we are starting off with Chris & Jill and their kareoke show,including quizzes & prizes and all round entertainment.Food will be available (curry, chilli, tortilla wraps) but not our full menu.

Saturday 21st June,
Hop on a vintage bus from Market Harborough railway station from 10:30am (and every 20 minutes thereafter)and come on down to The George. We have a BBQ all day with a wide range of reasonably priced food. Our real ale bar is in the old stable block at the top of the car park so you can enjoy our beers al fresco with the great sounds of live music duo "The optimystics". The live music continues indoors at 8pm for a real "sing song and knees up".
Unfortunately we cannot offer our popular steak night on this evening,

Sunday 22nd June,
The big wind down. We will be offering our normal Sunday lunchtime menu from 12 - 3pm. If we have any beers left you are welcome to sup the last and relax to a traditional folk ensemble in the bar from 8pm.
